I wear a white mask to reveal old age sleeping within; I still have time to embrace it, to love it. I still have time to let go... Sanda Semeika is a mother, musician and photographer originally from Latvia who has been living in Ireland for 10 years. Photography for Sanda is a celebration of precious moments in life, and is also something she does for fun with her husband Sergei (author of this piece) and friends @SandaSemeika
The lost face
Holds in the eyes
Oblivion
Its blue lips
Tend towards
Silence
And its spasm
Returns again
And again
To the bright abyss
Of desolate days
Le visage perdu
A dans les yeux
L’oubli du monde
Il tend au silence
Ses lèvres bleuies
Et son sursaut
Revient sans cesse
A l’abîme clair
Des jours déserts.
